Piocelan

Developed to protect the inside from impacts from the outside
Piocelan is a hybrid rigid foam that is created when polystyrene and polyolefins are combined. The combination of properties creates a material that has the stiffness, expandability and insulating properties of traditional EPS, but is also a lot less fragile and less brittle.

The material is therefore also comparable to EPP. For example, Piocelan has a comparable temperature resistance and both materials are lightweight. However, Piocelan is still 20% lighter than EPP, which means that this material can be produced in a lower weight and at lower production costs, which can weigh heavily in the choice of material.

Piocelan is known for excellent anti-wear performance, which makes the material very reusable and can therefore greatly reduce costs and impact on the environment
